Harvey Manes, MD, a former orthopedic surgeon who performed countless surgeries at Syosset Hospital, has donated $500,000 to support the hospital’s ongoing efforts to enhance patient care and orthopedic services. The donation creates the Dr. H. Manes Foundation Orthopedic Suite and will enable upgrades to the hospital’s orthopedic unit.

The new suite is designed to enhance the patient experience, improve recovery times, and offer advanced care for individuals with musculoskeletal conditions. The orthopedic suite, operating room, and lobby have been upgraded with new flooring, desks, and the addition of a dedication wall.

The suite will also provide orthopedic specialists with cutting-edge tools for diagnosis and treatment, ensuring that Syosset Hospital remains at the forefront of medical care.
